StereoRiots
StereoRiots
StereoRiots is an alternative indie band based out of Washington DC. The band began taking shape when Wahid Hashime (guitar/vocals) met Jey Williams (bass/vocals) online. The two began writing songs together and eventually enlisted Moe Sesay (drums/vocals). After the trio began shaping their sound they recruited Erica Yu to play keyboard and synth. Within a few months of writing together, StereoRiots began tracking demos at Blue Room Productions. Soon after their first set of demos were released the band started playing local shows in the DC area, and caught the attention of Austin Bello (Forever the Sickest Kids). In early 2014 StereoRiots began work on their debut EP with Austin. In the spring of 2014 Erica Yu departed from the band. Wahid, Jey and Moe continued to write and record the EP with Austin as a trio. During the recording process StereoRiots continued to play shows in DC, Virginia and New York. In late summer of 2014 the band wrapped up the recording for their debut EP. The trio continued writing and performing in various parts of the DMV area. In the beginning of 2015 the band announced that their debut EP "Intervals" would be released on February 13th, 2015.
They also announced Jorge Ramirez (keys/synth) as a new member of the band. For the next year to come they really started being noticed. Winning more contests and getting opportunities to play in major venues in the DC area. Venues like 930 Club and the Howard Theatre. 2015 was full of good vibes. They even started working on the daunting task of recording their first full length album. So far it's been an uphill battle especially with the quality they want to give their fans and the project being completely funded out of pocket. But they wont be stopped. They have so much material they want to share with the world the won't give up. They finished recording their first single off of the full length album in January 2016. But 2016 also brought StereoRiots some heartbreak. Jey the bassist and one of the original founding members was called to the West Coast to pursue a new calling in life. They moved forward and held tryouts for a new bassist. They found Chris Ruffin on August 9th, 2016 to fill the gap that was left with Jey's absence, So far he's contributing amazing things to StereoRiots.
FuzzQueen
FuzzQueen
Forged in the glowing embers of Washington D.C. following the 2016 election and subsequent Women’s March, the members of FuzzQueen are entrenched in the thriving DIY community of the nation’s capital. While keenly aware of the inescapably political nature of their locale, they coalesce around issues of social injustice and feminine power while also reveling in a “seething tension” that serves to both mirror and confront the political climate through sonic exploration.

"...music that’s expensively savage, like rotting metal. In fact, FuzzQueen’s sound is an entirely new sonic paradigm. And it’s excellent, full of intuition, guts and an instinctual feel." - Huffington Post

"Turbulent times breed turbulent songs. FuzzQueen’s new single “Angry, Angry” is an invigorating anthem for the marginalized, a cacophony of repressed rage exploding through the airwaves with empowered fury." - Atwood Magazine
Bad Krohma
Bad Krohma
A very hard three-piece rock band based in Washington, DC. Featuring gritty grooves, searing solos and booming basslines.

Bad Krohma is a concept. A revolt against musical mediocrity. A reaction to modern society. A burning desire to make a difference. A story of a struggle against the odds. A whirlpool of diverse musical influences.

Bad Krohma is all about the music. No bullshit. No compromises. No saccharine melodies. It will grip you, and not let go. It will set your pulse racing and leave you gasping for breath.

Bad Krohma speaks from the core of our beings to yours. We do not hide behind our music. In fact, our music brings to the surface the thoughts we all hide within. The music is our faces and minds. The music is who we are.

Bassist, vocalist Bandy has been brought up on Led Zeppelin and Pearl Jam, idolizing the genius of Vedder, Page, Jones, and Bonham. He stands around at jam sessions mouthing spontaneous lyrics and melodies, turning jams into song writing sessions (though in winter the lyrics are highly limited to the world being cold!). Lead guitarist Apro swears by Pink Floyd, Dream Theater and Opeth, and while he honed his chops listening to John Petrucci and Roger Gilmour, he cannot resist drifting into his own solos while covering their songs. (Fluent at playing leads by ear to any chord progression, the only thing Apro struggles with is the physics of his secret desire to be both the band’s lead guitarist and drummer!) Having played together for ten years we have created a musical style that incorporates intricate arrangements and variations in time signature coupled with aggressive lead guitar and bass work. Work proceeds on our upcoming album with tunes that exhibit our myriad influences.

It’s time for you to see us. It’s time for the show to begin. It’s time for our concept, Bad Krohma, to be your band!
