ALBINO RHINO

Albino Rhino has been ever-growing since their inception back in 2012. After cutting their teeth and sharpening their horns in DC and Northern Virginia, Albino Rhino has become known for their raw energy, high-quality musicianship, and unforgettable funk. The band plays rock-infused funk music, with elements of jazz and an affinity for improvisational music that takes their audiences on an evolving rollercoaster.

Like Albino Rhino's individual members and their hometown of Washington, DC, their music includes both unique properties and mass appeal. Drawing from their diverse experiences, they have written songs about growing up, social justice, funk, and of course, rhinos, so you're sure to find something for YOU within this eclectic portfolio. The question isn't if, but when, will you #RhinoUp?

THE QUICKENING

Saturated in soul and marinated in the love of music comes The Quickening out of New Orleans, LA. With the inception of the band begining in 2012, guitarist and song writer Blake Quick has assembled a panel of musicians that have enhanced the meaning of "feel good music." Prepare to be blown away by the luscious vocal pairings between the stunning Rachel "Mama Ray" Murray and Quick. The two have a chemistry that boils with excitement and defies the term "frontman" into one cohesive partnership. The rhythm section, coupled by Al Small on bass and Jeff Jani on drums, seem to have a marriage to the groove that Quick lays down. The band’s “secret weapon” is guitarist and pedal steel wizard, Dave Easely. The band has already made a huge impact in the New Orleans community and are eager to spread the word like butter across the US.

(Quick·en·ing): 1: to make alive; 2: to come to life; especially: to enter into a phase of active growth and development; 3: to shine more brightly
